Human Resources

In connection with a job application or inquiry, whether advertised on the CISM© Web site or otherwise, you may provide us with information about yourself, such as a resume or curriculum vitae. We may use this information throughout CISM© and related agencies for the purpose of consideration of your employment or your inquiry. Except where you tell us not to, we may keep the information for future consideration.

Registration & Order Form

Registration & Order Form

If you request something from an CISM© Web site, for example, an Education product or Consulting Service, a callback, or specific marketing materials, we will use the information you provide to fulfill your request. To help us do this, we may share information, with others, for instance, CISM©'s Associate Consultants, business partners, financial institutions, shipping companies, postal or government authorities (for example, Customs and Immigration authorities) involved in fulfillment. In connection with a transaction we may also contact you as part of our customer satisfaction surveys or for market research purposes.

We request information from the user on our order form. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

Talkback Forums and the ITILCafe ©

In order to use parts of this website, a user must sometimes first complete a registration form. During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address).

This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. It is optional for the user to provide demographic information (such as income level and gender), and unique identifiers (such as NRIC, SIN, social security number, etc.), but encouraged when it is appropriate, so we can provide a more personalized experience on our site.

Marketing Use

We may sometimes share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

We use an external shipping company to ship materials, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies are forbidden from retaining, using, sharing, storing or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. We will sever relationships with any company reported to be doing so upon notification from you or upon discovery of such infringement.

We partner with a logistics company to provide specific services of venue selection, catering and events setup related to our Education and Training services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.

These parties are forbidden from retaining, using, sharing, storing or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes except for the purpose of providing these services. We will sever relationships with any company reported to be doing so upon notification from you or upon discovery of such infringement.

Third party Supplier Administration

In some cases CISM© uses suppliers to collect, use, analyze and otherwise process information on its behalf. It is CISM©'s practice to require such suppliers to handle information in a manner consistent with CISM©'s policies.

If you represent a CISM© supplier, you may visit the CISM© Web site intended specifically for use by CISM© suppliers. We may use the information provided on that site in connection with entering into or performing a transaction with you. For example, this may include sharing information with other parts of CISM©, CISM©'s business partners, customers, shipping companies, financial institutions, postal or government authorities involved in fulfillment. Cookies and Other Technologies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates.
